Georgia Tech's athletic fields or recreational fields is used for a variety of intramural athletic activities. The athletic fields, Couch Park, is also known as the “Burger Bowl”  the “Burger” name came from the Burger King restaurant that used to reside across the athletic field and "Bowl" was named due to its uneven, bowl-shaped surface was called the “Bowl”.

The 6.55 acres of land was re-graded to improve the club sports and intramural playing field surfaces and drainage system, and includes new parking spaces, ADA improvements and pedestrian walkways.
